Begin Text

Adding Custom Text to the Start of Messages

What It Does

The /begin_text command allows you to prepend custom text at the beginning of every incoming message before it is forwarded to the target chat.

Prerequisite

  • Incoming and Outgoing Chats Configured: Ensure you have set up both incoming and outgoing chats using the /incoming and /outgoing commands. Without these, there will be no messages to modify and forward.

How to Use It

  • Send the command in the following format: /begin_text Your custom text here Example: /begin_text The best channel in the World This will add "The best channel in the World" to the beginning of every message.

  • Take care of spacing: The command doesn't automatically insert spaces, so ensure you include them if needed. Example: If the message is "Buy this movie.", the forwarded message will appear as: "The best channel in the WorldBuy this movie." To include a space, use: /begin_text The best channel in the World (with a space at the end).

  • Adding a line break: Use to add a line break between the custom text and the message. Example: /begin_text The best channel in the World\n

Resetting the text: To remove the custom text and stop adding it to messages, simply send: /begin_text EMPTY

Real-Life Use Cases

  • Channel Branding: Add a tagline or slogan at the start of every forwarded message to promote your brand identity.

  • Instructions: Prepend important instructions to messages, such as adding "For inquiries, contact support." at the beginning of each forwarded message.

  • Personalization: Customize forwarded messages by adding a personal touch, like "From the desk of [Your Name]."
