Outgoing

Setting Up Target Chats

What It Does

The /outgoing command configures the target (or "outgoing") chat, where Auto Forwarder Bot will forward the messages received from the incoming chats. The target can be a group, channel, or personal chat.

Prerequisite

  • Incoming Chat Set: You must have an incoming chat configured using the /incoming command for this feature to work. Without an incoming chat, there are no messages to forward.

  • Pinned Chat: Similar to the incoming setup, the chat you want as your outgoing chat must be pinned.

How to Use It

  • Pin the chat(s) in Telegram:

    1. Go to the chat (group, channel, or personal chat) you want to set as the outgoing chat in Telegram.

    2. Pin the chat by long-pressing it and selecting the pin icon (usually found at the top of the chat options). This step helps Auto Forwarder Bot recognize the chat.

      Pin the chat
  • Send the /outgoing command:

    1. Open a conversation with Auto Forwarder Bot in Telegram.

    2. Type and send the /outgoing command.

  • View your pinned chats:

    1. Auto Forwarder Bot will show you a list of your pinned chats.

  • Select the outgoing chat:

    1. Each pinned chat in the list will have a number next to it.

    2. Type the number that corresponds to the chat you want as the outgoing target and send it to Auto Forwarder Bot.

      Select the outgoing chat

Removing an Outgoing Chat

If you no longer want Auto Forwarder Bot to forward messages to a particular target chat:

  • Use the /remove_outgoing command.

  • A list of currently configured outgoing chats will appear.

  • Select the chat you want to remove by typing its corresponding number.

    Removing an Outgoing Cha

After removal, Auto_Forwarder_Bot will stop forwarding messages to that chat.
